Review: To be honest I didn't know this was a series when I bought it. I thought it was a stand alone book. But I'm so glad to know this is gonna be a series! I can't wait to read more about the three girls. This story follows Sadie, Darcy and Rosanna when they move into an apartment in New York. They all meet different poeple an specially guys. We can see the loves stories evolve.

I liked the 3 main character in this book but I connect more with Rosanna. I could really see myself in her. She's not from a rich family, she's a little bit shy but she try to be more confident and she love helping others. She try to live with the little money she have ( wich I did when I was at university ). Her and D are the total opposite but I enjoy reading about them.

Sadie was a great character too. She's so positive and believe in soul mates and love at first sight. She's the kind of person who is in love with love. We have that in common. It was fun reading her POV's and I was really happy to read about Austin too. He seemed so perfect for her.

Darcy is the one I liked the least in this book. It was really hard to connect with but she was a great character too. It just didn't click with me. Jude is my favorite boy in this story. He's a magican and he's so kind. I can't wait to read more about him.

Overall this was a good contemporary book and I recommend it to everybody who likes cute love story. I like to read books like this after I finish a fantasy book or series. It was really fun and I'm sure I will enjoy the second book even more. I really liked Susane Colasanti writting style and I will buy more of her book for sure.

This is hard ! I realise that I don't read a lot of sci-fi book.. I'm gonna go with Invated by Melissa Landers. I haven't read this one yet but I've read the first one in the series and I know it will take place on another planet. I loved Alienated so much!

Dumplin' by Julie Murphy has me completely sucked in! I think I read this book in one day and I really enjoyed it. It was a quick and fun contemporary.

Alice In Zombieland Review

Alice in zombieland
Author:Gena Showalter
Pages : 404
Date of publication : September 25, 2012
Synopsis : Had anyone told Alice Bell that her entire life would change course between one heartbeat and the next, she would have laughed. From blissful to tragic, innocent to ruined? Please. But that’s all it took. One heartbeat. A blink, a breath, a second, and everything she knew and loved was gone.
Her father was right. The monsters are real….
To avenge her family, Ali must learn to fight the undead. To survive, she must learn to trust the baddest of the bad boys, Cole Holland. But Cole has secrets of his own, and if Ali isn’t careful, those secrets might just prove to be more dangerous than the zombies….
Review: When I bought this book I really thought that this was kind of a remake of Alice in Wonderland like a lot of other readers. But even if there's nothing similar with the classic story of Lewis Carroll I loved this book so freaking much!

My favorite character has to be Cole! I have a thing for bad boy and he is the best I've ever read about. Oh my god, he's just so dark and mysterious. I waited all my life to read about a character like this and let me tell you it was worth the wait. He's now my ultimate crush! I know I say that eberytime I read a book but I can't help it.. I fall easily in love with characters.  I also really like Alice. She seem so shy at first but she can be so confident. Each time her and Kat have a conversation it always makes me laugh because they have such awesome comebacks! I like Kat a lot because she is so funny and confident.

This story have everything a book should have. There's a lot of funny moment, It can make you sad, the action in this book are very well describe and the love story is very good. My favorite part of Alice in zombieland is the ending (and the part with Cole ). I love when ending's of story have some action and make you want to read the next book so bad that you have to get it ASAP. This book did that to me and I did go buy Through the Zombie Glass right after. It took me less than 2 days to finish it cause I couldn't put it down.

I was hoping to read more about Cole's friends and I thought they weren't describe enough. I wanted to learn more about them because I think they were part of Alice's world too. That is the only negative thing I can say about this beautiful book.

If you like bad boy a lot ( like me ) and you like to read about paranormal creatures like zombies ( it was my first zombie book ) you should read it right now. Gena Showalter did an awesome job and I will buy more of her books if they are like the White rabbit chronicle series! I also need to say that this cover is so pretty !

Taylor Swift Book TAG

Hi guys ! I really enjoy doing book tag and I also love Taylor Swift so why not do the Taylor Swift Book Tag. Hope you'll enjoy !

1. We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together - A book or series that I was pretty sure I was in love with, but then wanted to break up with.

I know a lot of people said it but it has to be the Divergent trilogie by Veronica Roth… the final book was just.. I can’t even describe it.

2. Red - A book with a red cover.

I'm gonna go with Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma. I really enjoyed this book and love the simple cover too.

3. The Best Day - A book that makes me feel nostalgic.

The Harry Potter’s serie by J. K. Rowling make me feel a lot nostalgic because it’s probably the first serie that I had finish. I think those books make a lot of people nostalgic!

4. Love Story - A book with forbidden love.

Vampire Academy is the only book I can think of right now. It's been a long time since I read it but I remember very well that Rose wasn't suppose to love the person she liked.. It also made me realise I've never finished this series ! I really should.

5. I Knew You Were Trouble - A book with a bad character I couldn’t help but love.

I love bad characters in book because I always want them to chane and end up with the good person! The first one that come into my mind is Rhysand from A Court Od Thorns And Roses.

6. Innocent (written because of Kanye West) - A book that someone ruined the ending for.

Nobody never ruined the ending of a book. The only time that I know the ending of a book is when I watch the movie before reading the book. So if I go with that explanation I will pick The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. I loved that movie so much ! I need to read the book ASAP !

7. Everything Has Changed - A character from a book who goes through extensive character development.

I will go with Cinder from the Lunar Cronicles because she had a major change in the series ! She became an amazing character !

8. You Belong With Me - My most anticipated book release.

I can't wit for next month to buy A Court Of Wings And Ruins !! It's the third book in the series and I loved the first two books so much. If you didn't read this series yet you should start it right now!

9. Forever and Always - My favorite book couple.

This is so hard to choose only one couple ! Cath And Levi from Fangirl are one of my favorite so I will go with them. I want a Levi in my life..

10. Come Back, Be Here - A book I would least like to lend out, for fear of missing it too much.

Heartless because I didn't read it yet so I don't want to lose it !

BONUS QUESTIONS (from Katytastic) :

11. Teardrops On My Guitar - A book that made me cry a lot.

I have to go with The fault In Our Stars by John Green again. I cry a lot when I read books ( I’m very emotive) but I litteraly cry like a baby when I read TFIOS.

12. Shake It Off – A book that I love so much, I just shake off the haters.

Any books by Abbi Glines. I love her series so much and I don't care if it's very too cliché because I love romance so much !

The Rose And The Dagger Review

The Rose And The Dagger
Author: Renée Ahdieh
Pages :416
Date of publication : April 26th, 2016
Synopsis :In a land on the brink of war, Shahrzad is forced from the arms of her beloved husband, the Caliph of Khorasan. She once thought Khalid a monster—a merciless killer of wives, responsible for immeasurable heartache and pain—but as she unraveled his secrets, she found instead an extraordinary man and a love she could not deny. Still, a curse threatens to keep Shazi and Khalid apart forever. Now she’s reunited with her family, who have found refuge in the desert, where a deadly force is gathering against Khalid—a force set on destroying his empire and commanded by Shazi’s spurned childhood sweetheart. Trapped between loyalties to those she loves, the only thing Shazi can do is act. Using the burgeoning magic within her as a guide, she strikes out on her own to end both this terrible curse and the brewing war once and for all. But to do it, she must evade enemies of her own to stay alive.

Review: When I finished The Wrath And The Dawn I needed to read this one right after and that's what I did. I have to say I was a little dissapointed with this one but still find it good.

One of the reason I hadn't enjoyed this one as much is problably the romance part. I'm an hopeless romantic so to see the romance bloom in the first book was so nice and in The Rose And The Dagger romance wasn't the main subject since Shazi and Khalid can't see each other very much. I was still happy everytime they get to be together. We also get a little bit of romance with Shazi's little sister Irsa.

We can witness a lot of evolution from the main characters since the beginning of the first book. They now care more about the others then themselfs. I still love Shazi. She has an awesome personality and she learned to do magic to save everyone. What more can I ask for. This book surprise me so much! It wasn't predictable as much as the first one was. I'm still in choc of some of the twist in this book. My favorite character was Shazi's sister Irsa. She was so lovable and seemed so fragile but we see her evolution through the story and I loved that. I thought maybe with thi book I could finally start to appreciate Tariq but it didn't happened. I still find him anoying ant I can't stand him.

I still find to book so well written! I enjoyed how she describe everything. It was so easy to picture it in my head. I loe the world that she built. I'm kinda sad it's over but I love how it ended. I will read more of Renée Ahdieh's book for sure in the futur. I recommend this dualogy to anyone who like romance and magic with action.

Top Ten Tueday #2

This meme is from The Broke and the Bookish.
For this week Top Ten I'm going to think about stories that I can remember easily because for me if I don't remember it well it means that the story wasn't really unique. It also doesn't means  that this is my ten favorite books. Some of them are three and four stars books.

Top Ten : Unique books I've read

1.
This is probably the most unique book I've read because it's about a very unique subject : a love stroy between a sister and a brother. I was surprise about how much I've liked this book.

2.
I have to put the ACOTAR series because I love it so much and think the world is so well made and unique.

3.
This wonderful book made this list because Kat is the character that I can relate to the most to and for me it made this book unique.

4.
Merissa Meyer made the famous Cinderella a cyborg.. what can be more unique than that!

5.
I really enjoyed this series (I really need to finish it!) and I find this love story between a human and an alien very unique.

6.
There are so much unique things about this book that I can't name it all!

7.
Mental illness isn't something a subject I read a lot about but I wish I'd read more book like this one because it was so good!

8.
I really think this book was unique but it has also a unique and amazing cover ! I love just looking at it.

9.
I finished that book not long ago and I don't this I will forget how amazing and unique this world was.

10.
I liked the book but I love the series and the characters are unique.

The Wrath And The Dawn Review

The Wrath And The Dawn
Author: Renée Ahdieh
Pages :388
Date of publication : May 12th, 2015
Synopsis :In a land ruled by a murderous boy-king, each dawn brings heartache to a new family. Khalid, the eighteen-year-old Caliph of Khorasan, is a monster. Each night he takes a new bride only to have a silk cord wrapped around her throat come morning. When sixteen-year-old Shahrzad's dearest friend falls victim to Khalid, Shahrzad vows vengeance and volunteers to be his next bride. Shahrzad is determined not only to stay alive, but to end the caliph's reign of terror once and for all. Night after night, Shahrzad beguiles Khalid, weaving stories that enchant, ensuring her survival, though she knows each dawn could be her last. But something she never expected begins to happen: Khalid is nothing like what she'd imagined him to be. This monster is a boy with a tormented heart. Incredibly, Shahrzad finds herself falling in love. How is this possible? It's an unforgivable betrayal. Still, Shahrzad has come to understand all is not as it seems in this palace of marble and stone. She resolves to uncover whatever secrets lurk and, despite her love, be ready to take Khalid's life as retribution for the many lives he's stolen. Can their love survive this world of stories and secrets?

Review: I had high expectation about this book because everyone seemed to love it! They all said it was so well written and that the romance in this was a very good one. And I think they were all... right ! I think this is an awesome book. You know when you have high expectation for a book and then you read it and you feel a little bit dissapointed about certain.. well that did not happen at all.

The romance was of course a big part of this story. It was very well made and didn't feel too fast. I'm an hoppeles romantic but I don't really enjoy instalove. I like to see the main characters fall slowly in love with each other and I love it even more when one character hate the other one at the beggening. Shahrzad (I'm not even sure how to say it!) has really good reasons to hate Khalid for what he did to her bestfriend and all the other girl before her. She is also so smart and that's why she can see that Khalid is not really the person she thought he would be. I loved her character very much. She's not afraid to stand up for herself.. she's even too stubborn sometime. Khalid, The caliph of Khorasan, was also a very enjoyable character. He was so mysterious and seemed so trouble for such a young king! He could be a monster but could be sweet and caring for those he cared about.

An other character that I liked was Despina! She was sassy and very funny. I loved the friendship between her and Shazi. Their conversation always made me smile because it felt real. Jalal was also very funny! The only character I dind't loved was Tariq. His intentions aren't bad but after seeing Shazi and Khalid love story I didn't want him to come and destroyed it.

This world was so well made. I liked the touch of magic and hope to see it more in the next one. Renée's writting was awesome. It wasn't ruch and she describe the story very well. I loved that she include a glossary at the end of the book! The only thing bad I have to say about that book was all the names.. My brain had so much trouble remembering them! I really recommend this book because just like everybody else I loved it.

A Court Of Mist And Fury Review

A Court Of Mist And Fury
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Pages :640
Date of publication : May 3th, 2016
Synopsis :Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people. Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of a world cleaved in two.

Review: The only thing I could think of when I finished this book was Oh My God! This is the second book of the series A Court Of Thorns And Roses . I did a review for the first book A Court Of Thorns And Roses if you want to see it. I didn't think the second book could be better than the first one but it was! I know now that I NEED to read The Throne Of Glass series because Srah J. Maas is becoming really fast one of my favorite author! The cover was just as beautiful as the first one. So now let's talk about this beautiful (big) book.

I will start with Feyre. I really enjoyed seeing the darker side of her after all that happen at the end of the first book. I find her emotions to be very believable! She did some bad things and didn't forget them and pass to something else. She know what she did and try to live with it even if it's really hard. With the help of her new friend she find a way to be the best version of this new her possible. I don't really want to talk about Tamlin but I will because he is an idiot. I loved him in the first book but in this one I hated him. He was controlling and Feyre couldn't even talk to him about what she needed. How can Sarah J. Maas made me love a character so much and right after made me hate him! My heart was so confused.. at least we don't see him very much in this book.

Rhysand was amazing in this story. We see him go from an ass to a really good person with a big heart when it comes to the person he love. I liked him in ACoTaR but I loved him after seeing how he evolved. He's now my man (I have a lot of them)! he did such hard things just to made sure his poeple were safe. We can see sides of him that are amazing. The romance in this lovely book was so hot! I enjoyed all the flirting so much. I appreciate that it started slow so we see it evolved. Feyre's sisters made me laugh so much in this book! I liked their character more this time. Azriel and Cassian are so awesome! Is every man in he night court are perfect? Because I love them all so much!

This book was really well written. I enjoyed Sarah J. Maas writting style. I have to say that the ending was one of the best I had read! Didn't see it coming!
I should've start this book when I had 2 days off because I had to go to work when I was reading it and all I wanted to do was sit there and continu this beautiful book. Next time I'll know! I really enjoyed the Hades and Persephone retelling! It made me want to read more about greek mythology. I can't wait for to read the third book! This series is addicting..

A Court Of Thorns And Roses Review

A Court Of Thorns And Roses
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Pages :416
Date of publication : May 5th, 2015
Synopsis :When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she only knows about from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin—one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world. As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow grows over the faerie lands, and Feyre must find a way to stop it... or doom Tamlin—and his world—forever.

Review: I always wanted to know why everyone was going crazy about this book. I have to confess I've never read Thrones Of Glass (it's in my TBR). So it was my first Sarah J. Maas book and I loved it! I will try my best to be true to the feeling I've had after I finished it because I've made the mistake of finishing the second book before doing this review and my feeling for some character has changed. I'll try my best to explain how I felt right after I read the last page of ACOTAR.

First I want to talk about those amazing character she has made. I love them all so much even the villain! I think I have a soft side for the villain in books or movies... I always think they can find someone who can change them and make them good! Each character was there for a reason and made an impact on the book. Feyre was my favorite of course. She remind me a little of Katniss Everdeen. She's so strong and love her family so much even if they don't really deserve it. She's stubborn and also have a lot a courage. She's a really good model and made the list of my top ten favorite female character for sure. She's so much more bad-ass than all the Belle's I've read about.  And now lets talk about Tamlin! He's the perfect Beast I've read about. He's such a strong man but can be so awkward with Feyre. I really enjoyed reading how their relationship developed. I love romance and I was really happy with this one. Beauty and the beast was my favorite disney story when I was a child so I knew I'd like this.

Lucien was awesome! He made me laugh so much! He's sarcastic and funny. I like him a little bit more than Tamlin and that mean a lot! He's an asshole but a good one. I love his personality. Rhysand was also a very good character! I'm always i love with the bad boy's in book and he's a very good one.. with wings! I don't think he's evil. I think he has a really good side and I can't wait to read more about him. So I'm kind of in a bad position because I loved Tamlin but I also loved Rhysand... Life is so hard!

This is a really good book! Anything I will say about this book won't do it justice. I recommend you don't bother starting this book unless you can finish it all in one sitting because ACOTAR was that good! It's in my top five favorite book I've read. I also read the sequel A Court Of Mist And Fury and I will do a review on it very soon.
